Montreal, April 15, 2008 - The symposium SAN-TECH 2008 of the AQESSS

Bringing together nearly 1,000 professionals in the public health network, the symposium SAN-TECH 2008 of the AQESSS held on 9 and 10 April, the Congress Center of the Sheraton Hotel in Laval. This year's theme was "Planning and innovate to take a step ahead."

Energy efficiency this year was one of major topics in connection with the objectives of health facilities and social services in Quebec, under the Kyoto Protocol. These amendments seek a reduction of 14% of their energy consumption by 2010.
