History
Our story begins 20 years ago, when the founder of Senergy EAM / CMMS, Mr. Xavier Bonifay, then owner of the computer services company IFs Ltd., based in Macao, Asia, was mandated to develop a maintenance management application for the incineration business according to the specifications of the company, Compagnie Générale des Chauffes, to be implemented in all of their incineration plants.
Two years later, Bonifay decided to reorient his company toward the development and commercialization of this new product, while broadening the scope of the application and generalizing its features so that the tool could be used by any manufacturing company.
Bonifay's initial technological vision was that the software should be multiplatform and be able to evolve rapidly as a function of new demands from users. From the beginning, he thus decided to use Oracle™ both for its database and for its development tools, while developing an extremely compact information management and information access architecture.
In 1993, Bonifay decided to move to Quebec and transfer the head office there. He began the local commercialization of the product Senergy EAM / CMMS.
Over a period of 13 years, Bonifay created a highly-qualified, solid R&D team and was able to demonstrate the relevancy of his product in North America, with more than a hundred clients (Hydro Québec, The Cirque du Soleil, Noranda, Onyx, etc.), while continuing to develop the Asian market.
In 2005, confident in the technological quality of his product and convinced of its international commercial potential, Bonifay decided to "move into high gear". He thus established a sales organization that would market Senergy on an international scale based on a well-defined marketing strategy and a network of partners on three continents.
Since 2006, prestigious companies have aligned themselves with the IFCS strategy, creating solid partnerships. On the industrial side, for example, there is ENDEL, European leader in manufacturing maintenance, and on the IT side, companies such as Momentum Technologies, specialist in Oracle and Java technologies.
Today, IFCS has become an international vendor of CMMS and Asset Management software. Its solutions are above all technologically advanced, solid and proven.
Bonifay's vision is to always stay ahead of the competition by investing heavily in R&D.
