In the days when the earth turned at a more leisurely pace, and people still had time to live, our grandparents passed on their wisdom to us in sayings. It made sense then to say, "Slow and steady wins the race"!
Today, we live in the age of productivity and competitiveness. We hardly have the luxury today of going "slow and steady". We must learn to optimize! Today we would rather say: "fast, with the least halts and greatest fuel economy, wins the race".
For the last twenty years, we have been developing solutions to manage and optimize maintenance and assets. We firmly believe that only with the right tool and maintenance strategy can businesses continue to produce more, while decreasing their operating costs.
At IFCS, we produce that tool! "

IFCS - Senergy / Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS)
Senergy EAM / CMMS was implemented for the first time at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) in 1998, in order to manage all building maintenance operations.
BMS has about 500 employees at its Candiac (Quebec) site. It is active in the field of research, development and production of medications used in the treatment of cancer and tumours.
In 2002, the use of Senergy was extended to the research and production departments to adequately document and control equipment maintenance operations and to generate precise histories of each piece of equipment.
Senergy was initially acquired to replace an obsolete, difficult-to-use application, operating under MS-DOS™, whose database had outgrown its limits. Senergy and its Oracle™ database were thus installed on the secured BMS network.
Today, Senergy enables BMS to manage more than 2000 work orders per month, 95% of which are preventive work orders. Through the automatic generation of maintenance planning, Senergy has simplified and reduced the risk of errors in all BMS maintenance processes.
